Im Rahmen der Fortbildungsreihe Labor trifft Lehrer*in – digital! bietet das Berliner Max-Delbrück-Center biomedizinische Kurse zur aktuellen Forschung für Lehrerinnen und Lehrer an. Biologie-Lehrkräfte der Sekundarstufen und auch fachfremde Lehrende können online über Zoom teilnehmen.
Am 11.01. 2023, 16:00-17:30 Uhr referieren Dr. Agnieszka Rybak-Wolf und Dr. Luiza Bengtsson aus der Arbeitsgruppe Technologieplattform Organoide über humane Hirnorganoide:
Organoids are stem cell-derived 3D culture systems that mimic the cellular complexity and functionality of human organs. They provide new opportunities for studying the development of healthy and diseased organs. In this training, teachers will be introduced into 3D organoid technologies and will learn specifically about how brain organoids can be used to model human brain development or study brain disorders such as Alzeimer’s disease or virus driven Encephalitis.
